This cake is sinful, smooth and creamy and gorgous! I made these chocolate truffle cakes a while ago and took some to my neighbors. I had to share this great recipe! I got phone calls asking me for the recipe within hours, even minutes. One friend, hid this cake from her family and ate it all herself. It’s so good, you will make this cake over and over again. Now that I am using this great recipe for the 12 Recipes of Christmas, I will be making several batches this

1/2 cup heavy cream
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips or pieces
1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan intil hot, not boiling. Pour cream over chocolate pieces. Let stand 1 minute. Stir mixture until chocolate is smooth. Add sugar and stir. Add eggs one at a time, stirring to combine. Add flour and stir until lumps are gone. Pour into a greased 9″ cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees foir 20-25 minutes or until barely done. The middle should be soft, but not gooey. After the cake cools, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
