I’ve had the great opportunity to be scheduled with Deanna at 2 seperate book signings, the most recent being at the Ft. Union Deseret Book store for Ladies’ Night. WOW! This most recent addition of the Worldwide Ward Cookbook is especially for Mothers. People from all around the United States and world for that matter were asked to submit recipes that reminded them of their mothers, or something their mother always made, along with a story and picture if they desired. Not only are the recipes great, but the stories are worth reading by themselves.
I have been reading this book during the week, when I’ve had a moment or two, and when I’ve had someone come over, they too have been captivated by the stories and pictures. These recipes are so special and when I read the story, I want to make each and every recipe!
This Worldwide Ward Cookbook is my favorite one so far, having the best recipes and also the best stories. I am going to be making the Celestial Cake (p.215) this next week. I have made a list of what I need at the grocery store and I will let you know how it goes. I’ll even post a photo!
This cookbook is a must have not only for the great stories, but the great recipes inside. Visit here to get your copy in time for Mother’s Day.
P.S. If you are interested in submitting a recipe to be in the next Worldwide Ward Cookbook, go to www.worldwidewardcookbook.blogspot.com for details. I am submitting something, I just can’t decide what yet.
