I spend a lot of my time on the computer, and I have found some great food websites. There are some great resources out there, I thought I’d share some of my favorites…
10. Martha Stewart
OK, I know her ideas can seem hard sometimes, but you have to try it once to see that they are amazing ideas, and not too hard. Every recipe or craft idea I have gotten from her is perfect in every way. I have a great Mother’s Day gift idea for this year from Martha, but I will not say what it is… I don’t want to spoil the surprise! Take a look here.
9. Taste of Home
The Taste of Home has been a go to place for me since I began baking and cooking. I find inspiration each time I visit this site. My family thanks me for it each and every time. Take a look here.
I heard about Foodista from my daily searches for cupcakes…. I like to see what others are making. I am a cupcake fanatic. The first step to recovery is admitting, I’m just not sure I want to recover. Foodista is a cooking encyclopedia that everyone can edit. Take a look here.
7. Food Network
Of course I have to talk about one of my favorite places on the web, The Food Network. So many great talents, like Tyler Florence, Sandra Lee, Giada De Laurentiis, Rachael Ray, Guy Fieri, Ina Garten and Paula Deen- all in one place! There will certainly be a recipe for everyones cooking and baking desires. Take a look here.
6. Cooking Light
For recipes that are your favorite, but made healthier, try this site. There ie a plethera of information… helpful hints, and the recipes taste good. They have made healthy taste great! Take a look here.
Epicurious is dedicated to the people who love to eat. I’ll raise my hand to that one! I love to eat. I love to create as well. This site is great because it has recipes from around the world- or recipes with eggs in them, a seasonal ingredient map- which can help you save money on your grocery bill, and articles on all you need to know about cooking, baking and kitchen supplies. A must read- take a look here.
4. My Recipes
With My Recipes, there are so many ways to search for recipes, it’s crazy. There are sections for all your needs, from cooking light, menus and parties, weight loss, healthy diet, and quick and easy. Organization saves a lot of time. I’m loving this site. Take a look here.
3. All Recipes
All Recipes have great ideas, but what I like most about this site, are ratings by other people. I can read the reviews and search related items until I find the best recipe for a certain meal. Sometimes I take 2 favorite recipes and combine them to make a perfect fit for my kids and husband. Take a look here.
2. Rachael Ray
Everyday with Rachael Ray. Need I say more? The woman is a creative, artistic, talented person, who comes up with the most fabulous meals, that really take no time at all, but it sure looks like they do. I have several of her cookbooks, and use them all the time. But if I am in need of something special, that I want to be perfect the first time I try it, this is the place to find what you need. You won’t go wrong. Take a look here.
1. Food Gawker
The Food Gawker is amazing. Anyone can add recipes and photos, and just looking at the photos are, well…. mouth watering heaven for someone like myself. I became mesmorized by each and every photo, and before I knew it- it had been an hour! Take a look here.
