Independence Vanilla Cream cupcakes

This cupcake is a perfect was to celebrate the 4th of JULY! I think it may be my favorite holiday- not just because it’s my birth month, either.

Independence Vanilla Cream

1 box white cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries for garnish (fresh or frozen)
1 recipe whipped cream

Mix together cake mix, eggs, milk, vanilla. Pour the batter into paper liners, filling ¾ full. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes until the cakes are light golden brown.

Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.

Frost generously with whipped cream and spoon fresh or frozen berries over the top
just before serving.
