This smore recipe is the Give Me Smore cupcake, 101 Gourmet Cupcakes style. It’s being re-released on August 8, 2011- very soon.
Give Me Smore cupcakes
1 box white or chocolate (as pictured) cake mix
1 cup milk
1 bag of large marshmallows
1 jar chocolate fudge sauce or my favorite, chocolate ganache
Graham crackers (broken into squares)
Mix together cake mix, eggs, and milk and pour into paper liners ¾ full. Place one
large marshmallow in the center of the unbaked cupcake and press down slightly to
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until marshmallow is golden and cake springs back when lightly touched. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack. Warm the fudge sauce in the microwave and place a spoonful on top of the cupcake. This is your glue. Top with a graham cracker another warm marshmallow, fudge sauce and graham cracker square.
