I will be taking it easy. I’ve got a mile high pile of things to do this week, so I hate to say it, but there will not be anything gourmet on the dinner menu. Unless you count Papa Murphy’s Pizza as a gourmet menu item.
I did however, let Miss A (10 years old) take over a lot of the dinner responsibilities. She seemed to enjoy it, and even though the kitchen was and still is a mess, it’s worth it. She will learn some basic steps to preparing meals for her future family, and I can focus on getting ready for the new book to be released.
In case you haven’t heard, 101 Gourmet Cake Bites is officially released on August 8th(my little sister’s birthday)! Less than a month away. It’s beautiful- I’m so happy with it. Writing the book was the easy part, it’s all the stuff you do before and after it comes out that is exhausting… but so much fun!
So happy dinnertime this week- or not in my case, but either way, there’s some great recipes in store for next week!
Monday- Papa Murphy’s Pizza & Roasted Broccoli
Tuesday- Lynn Wilson’s bean and cheese burritos with rice
Wednesday- Whole Wheat Banana Pancakes w/ fresh strawberries and cream
Thursday- Tuna Melt Sandwiches, Doritos, and sliced apples
Friday- Chicken and artichoke quesadillas with leftover rice
Saturday- BBQ hotdogs with watermelon
Sunday- Personal Omelets w/ hashbrowns
