Since I am in the mood for some yummy cookies and cupcakes, why not combine the two? I used the Cookie Dough Cupcakes from 101 Gourmet Cupcakes and the Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies from 101 Gourmet Cookies. Perfect combination if I do say so myself.
I made them for little Miss G’s Birthday celebration. She loved them, as did everyone.
Mr. B- well, he asked for more. Score for Aunt Winnie!
I stopped long enough to take a deep breath and snap this photo of the inside of the cupcake. It’s creamy, moist, and had 2 whole cookies…. Seriously. And I wonder why I keep gaining weight with each cookbook.
The whole pan of cupcakes. Did I mention that I made these a week ahead of time? I prepared them completely as if to serve right away, and covered them in this baking dish with Press-n-Seal ( my favorite thing in the world) and then pulled them out of the freezer 2 hours before we served them. They tasted so fresh.
This is my brother-in-law Mark. He made his dad proud. This is his second, I repeat second cupcake ( and technically 4th cookie) for the evening. His dad always has a second serving of dessert- it’s his favorite part of the meal! Like father, like son. Love you Mark!
