Fresh from my garden- it’s the way I like to eat… for as long as I can. Disclaimer: I don’t not promise your children will love this or eat any of this salad. But I look at it this way- there is more for me!
4 medium tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup green onions, sliced thin
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Toss all ingredients together and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
