Things had to change. I was tired of looking at the same colors, day in and day out. I was going crazy!
This is what happened.
I love the two-tone look with darker trim. My friend’s sister did this to her house recently. It really updates my walls and gives it a more classy look. (I’m feeling more grown up these days.)
The before and after on my long wall. The gold was darker than I thought it was.
My little girl posing in my heels by the front door. But look at how great the colors of the paint go with my tile and carpet!
Mr. E had to write his initials on the biggest wall. I soon covered it up and got this effect. (below)
I have been wanting to get rid of the red wall for a time- just didn’t have the time or energy. It has been a huge undertaking to paint my main level of the house. It will be finished by Wednesday ( I have baking classes and lots of accounting to do in between coats.)
I love the final look. This is my living room. I love my couches and the shutters with the old window. Comfy country is the way I define my style with a touch of red, of course. I bought fabric for my window treatments and as soon as I get the 9′ panels done, I’ll post a pic too. I tell ya, it’s crazy around here…..
P.S. Did I mention that every bone and muscle in my body hurts?
P.P.S. I can’t wait to start baking again.
Happy Painting and redecorating!
