… and I really promise they are easy. And if your family is like mine, the pan will be devoured in minutes. I had to cut myself a piece before they were gone.
2 cans refrigerated crescent dough
2- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup plus 4 tbsp. sugar, divided
1 tsp. cinnamon
Layer your greased 8×8 baking pan with one can crescent dough, pressing the seams together.
Cream together your cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread the cream cheese layer over the crescent dough, evenly.
Then top with the remaining crescent dough. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon, then gently poor the melted butter over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 28-30 minutes, or until the crescent dough is cooked through and topping is bubbly. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Slice into squares and drizzle with caramel sauce. Yummy!
