or a ultimate S’more cake. However you look at it, it’s a serious dessert not to be overlooked.

I saw a picture in Pinterest that sparked my interest. And my brain started turning…. really spinning out of control. What if I used my own Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies from 101 Gourmet Cookies? What if I used my triple chocolate cake recipe? What if I used my easy cheesecake recipe? and so on. I think you get the picture….. it was going to be amazing.

That’s how this cake began.

It’s a simple cake really, just layers of your favorite treats- I also think a layer of chocolate peanut butter cups would taste so good… that is what we will have to add next time. There will be a next time. I took this cake to my husband’s office at lunch- I knew I couldn’t come home with it. Within a matter of minutes, it was gone. Only crumbs remained on the plate.

Ultimate S’more Cake

basically you need: 9″ round layers of

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookie recipe

Chocolate cake

New York style cheesecake

Chocolate Butter Cream frosting

Chocolate Ganache

Marshmallow Frosting

1 pkg. graham crackers, and crumbs for garnish

You can watch the Studio 5 segment here…. where I gave my marshmallow frosting recipe, and showed this beauty of a cake.

Basically to assemble, start your layers with 1/2 the chocolate cake, then marshmallow frosting, some graham crackers (they will soften with the frosting), then cheesecake, chocolate frosting, marshmallow frosting, then more graham crackers. Then your cookie, more chocolate butter cream, marshmallow cream and your top layer of chocolate cake. Frost with chocolate butter cream frosting, then drizzle with chocolate ganache and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers for garnish if desired. Serve small slices, as this cake is really rich. Happy Baking!
