Happy July 4th! I love little bite sized finger foods. How about you? I also love the flavor of chicken wings, but I don’t like the bones. We devoured these little pieces of heaven. And they were both spicy and sweet.
Chicken Wing Sliders
2 lbs. chicken tenderloins
1 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
4-5 drops of Tabasco sauce (or more if you want it really hot)
Mini Ciabatta rolls, or slider buns
Brown the chicken until cooked through and then shred it. Add the honey, butter and Tabasco sauce. Stir until heated through and all the chicken is coated with the sauce.
Toast the rolls, then while still hot, place the chicken mixture then top with some blue cheese crumbles and diced celery. Place a toothpick in each roll keeping them together. Serve while still warm.
