White chocolate cookies and cream cookies

I knew in my heart these cookies would be so good, they would be a little dangerous to keep in the house. But we all survived. And it was a record 24 hours for the 3 dozen cookies to be eaten.


It’s a new family favorite.

White Chocolate Cookies and Cream Cookies

1 cup butter, soft

1 pkg. Hersheys White Chocolate instant pudding powder (4 oz.)

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. baking powder

2 1/4 cup flour

1 cup white chocolate chips

15 Oreo cookies

Cream together the butter, instant pudding powder, vanilla, eggs and sugar. Add the baking soda, powder and flour. When almost combined, add the white chocolate and Oreo cookies. Continuing to mix until all ingredients are combined. Chill the dough for at least one hour, overnight is best. Scoop dough into round balls, using a medium cookie scoop and bake chilled dough for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Makes 3 dozen.

  1. I have a question. Did you flatten the dough balls before you baked them or did they spread out nicely on their own? I just made your similar version, Double Chocolate Chip Candy Cane Cookies, from 101 Gourmet Desserts. That uses chocolate pudding. That one doesn’t call for any baking powder and the balls have to be flattened. I flattened them before baking while you stated to flatten after baking. They still got puffy and didn’t look like this photo and I’m wondering why.
